RSD2513 Training for Tripmare, Italy

Simulator and Practical Training for two RSD 2513 Tugs

The Italian tug operator Tripmare, based in Trieste, recently expanded its fleet with two modern Damen RSD 2513 tugboats built by Damen Shipyards.

Before the vessels entered service, four crew members first completed simulator training in the Netherlands to become familiar with the handling characteristics of the RSD tug design.

Now that the vessels are ready for operation, I will travel to Trieste to continue the training with practical onboard familiarisation, helping the crew gain confidence and skill with their new RSD 2513 tugs for real harbour operations.
