Delivery & Commissioning – Stan Tug 2309
Two brand-new Damen Stan Tug 2309 vessels were delivered to the port of Qatar aboard a heavy-lift vessel.
Upon arrival, I received a very warm welcome,
43 degrees Celsius, to be exact!
My role was to oversee final preparations and ensure both tugs were ready for handover to their new owners.
After a brief sea trial and familiarisation sessions with the crew, both vessels were declared ready for operation.
A smooth handover, a great team, and a memorable experience in Qatar.
