CEMEX Go Innovation – Sea Trials
It’s been a busy period with multiple new vessels ready for sea trials and training sessions — each project bringing its own unique challenges and experiences.
One highlight was the CEMEX go Innovation dredger MAD3500, a 100-metre-long vessel built for efficient dredging operations. The trial began in Galați, Romania, but just an hour after casting off, heavy fog came in. Unfortunately, the conditions didn’t improve, and we had to anchor on the Danube River and wait it out.
Due to delays caused by the weather, I had to leave the project earlier than planned, and my colleague Danny Plug stepped in to complete this trial.
