Ghana port authoritys orderd two new ASD2813 tugs. To train the people in advance, a small group of local captains came over to Gorinchem, Netherlands to train on the simulator for two full weeks. Like i wrote in the last blog, people from RijksWaterStaat were joining the ASD handling course on the Damen Simulator at Gorinchem. After a week of intensive lessons, the trainees are ready for an other week of practical training later on. in this simulator training we start really basic and build up the skill level.
